KUALA LUMPUR:<\/strong> Isu gaji yang tidak berkembang dalam kalangan golongan pertengahan (M40) dilihat memerlukan reformasi menyeluruh, khususnya melibatkan struktur pasaran buruh negara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pakar ekonomi berpandangan bahawa masalah gaji statik dalam kumpulan ini semakin ketara, walaupun kos sara hidup terus meningkat dari semasa ke semasa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menurut mereka, antara punca utama ialah ketidaksepadanan antara peningkatan produktiviti dengan kadar kenaikan gaji, selain struktur pekerjaan yang tidak menyokong pertumbuhan pendapatan jangka panjang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keadaan ini menyebabkan sebahagian besar golongan M40 berdepan tekanan kewangan, termasuk kesukaran menampung kos kehidupan di bandar serta komitmen seperti perumahan dan pendidikan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sehubungan itu, reformasi pasaran buruh dianggap penting bagi memastikan sistem gaji lebih adil dan progresif, termasuk melalui pelaksanaan dasar seperti gaji progresif serta peningkatan kemahiran tenaga kerja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dalam masa sama, penambahbaikan dari segi perlindungan pekerja dan peluang pekerjaan berkualiti tinggi turut dilihat sebagai langkah penting untuk meningkatkan pendapatan kumpulan ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penganalisis turut menegaskan bahawa tanpa perubahan struktur, jurang antara kos sara hidup dan pendapatan akan terus melebar, sekali gus memberi kesan kepada kesejahteraan golongan pertengahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
