KUALA LUMPUR:<\/strong> Malaysia menerima jaminan daripada Mesir untuk mempermudah penyaluran bantuan kemanusiaan ke Gaza melalui pintu sempadan Rafah dalam masa terdekat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim berkata komitmen itu diperoleh hasil perbincangan bersama Presiden Mesir, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, bagi memastikan bantuan dapat disalurkan tanpa halangan besar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menurut beliau, sebanyak 374 tan bantuan kemanusiaan dari Malaysia dijangka mula dihantar bermula April, sekali gus memberi kelegaan kepada lebih 100,000 penduduk Gaza yang memerlukan bantuan segera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anwar menjelaskan bahawa jaminan tersebut amat penting memandangkan laluan ke Gaza sering berdepan kekangan akibat konflik berterusan di rantau itu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dalam masa sama, beliau menegaskan Malaysia tidak akan berundur daripada usaha membantu rakyat Palestin walaupun berdepan cabaran termasuk sekatan tertentu yang menjejaskan penghantaran bantuan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kerajaan juga akan terus memainkan peranan aktif di peringkat antarabangsa dalam mempertahankan hak kemanusiaan serta memastikan bantuan sampai kepada golongan yang memerlukan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selain itu, usaha diplomatik akan diteruskan bagi memastikan laluan bantuan kekal terbuka dan selamat untuk operasi kemanusiaan pada masa akan datang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secara keseluruhannya, jaminan daripada Mesir ini dilihat sebagai perkembangan positif dalam memastikan bantuan Malaysia dapat disampaikan dengan lebih lancar kepada rakyat Gaza yang terjejas akibat konflik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
